Terms & Conditions


The use of the Raiffeisen Bank Hungary APIs (henceforth the “API”) and Developer Portal (henceforth the “Portal”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (henceforth the “T&C”). Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By using the API and Developer Portal you certify that you have read and understood the T&C and agree to its terms. We may change the content or services found on the Portal at any time without notice, and consequently the data of the Portal may change at any time in the future. You agree to revisit this page regularly and your continued access to or use of the Portal and the API will mean that you agree to the changes.

The Portal and the API are operated by Raiffeisen Bank Hungary Zrt. (henceforth the “RBHU”), with registered office at Hungary, 1133 Budapest, Váci út 116-118., company identification number Cg. 01-10-041042, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Budapest.


Registration to the Portal

The Portal is a discretionary offer by RBHU. You must register through the website at https://developer.raiffeisen.hu/ for access to both Portal and API. Any information that you provide in connection with your registration must be correct and complete, and you are responsible for maintaining such information up-to-date and accurate throughout the term of your registration. Upon successful registration, you may be provided with access credential, passwords, API security keys and other account information (henceforth the “Credentials”). The Credentials are, and will remain, the property of RBHU and you are granted a nontransferable license to use the Credentials for the sole purpose of participating in the Portal. You must keep the Credentials confidential and may not sell, transfer, sublicense, or otherwise disclose your Credentials to any other person or for any other purpose. If you become aware or if you suspect that the confidentiality of your Credentials have been compromised, you are obliged to inform RBHU without undue delay. You must not attempt to circumvent or modify any Credentials or other security mechanism used by RBHU in connection with the Portal.


Terms of Use of the Portal APIs

You are responsible for all activities that occur under usage of your Credentials, regardless whether undertaken by you or someone else. You are obliged to comply with all legal requirements and refrain from creating content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable, or any content that may be construed as such.

You are prohibited from and you will not engage particularly in any of the following activities:
a. reverse engineer, disassemble, reconstruct, unmask, reverse assemble or decompile any object code of the platform, any RBHU test data, API or any other data provided by RBHU in connection with the Portal and the API;
b. attempt unauthorized access to, or use of, RBHU’s services or systems;
c. damage, disrupt, or otherwise negatively affect the operation of RBHU’s services or systems including but not limited to intentionally or negligently overloading RBHU’s network or conducting denial of services attacks, finding or exploiting vulnerabilities in RBHU’s security;
d. generate unnecessary or excessive calls or volumes of activity on or through API;
e. engage in any activity that prevents any other developer from using the Portal or the API;
f. use any robot, spider, site search or other application to retrieve or index Portal;
g. use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to create accounts on Portal;
h. collect information about other developers;
i. introduce any viruses, worms, trojans, webbots, trapdoor or other malicious code;
j. disable, hack disrupt, damage or interfere with the Portal or the API;
k. use the Portal and the API in a manner that may be regarded as being false or misleading to us;
l. distribute, disclose, publish, market, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or assign to any third party any information to which you have access via Portal without prior express consent of RBHU.

A violation of any of the foregoing may result in the immediate termination of your access to the Portal and the API.


Termination of your Registration

In case you suffer a security breach that impacts on the confidentiality or integrity of the Portal and the API RBHU will act according to the Section 39/A Enacted by Section 48 of Act CXLV of 2017 and might terminate your right to access to the Portal.

Data protection

By using the Portal you accept RBHU’s Privacy Policy, Data protection and privacy policy.
RBHU collects information to provide better services. RBHU only processes the data you have provided during registration. We also collect the content that you create, upload or receive from others when using our services. We only use this information to provide you with the services of the Portal and giving information about the Portal, so to interact with you directly. We also use your information to ensure that our services are working as intended, and we use your information to make improvements to our services. We use data for analytics and measurement to understand how our services are used. We use information to help improve the safety and reliability of our services. This includes detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security risks and technical issues. We’ll ask for your consent before using your information for a purpose that isn’t covered in our Data protection and privacy policy. When you’re signed in, you can always review and update information. You can also request to remove content from the service based on applicable law. To delete your information, you can either delete your content or delete your registration. Please be aware to the fact, that we are obliged by law to pertain information about you after you deleted your registration, so we do retain data for limited periods when it needs to be kept for legitimate business or legal purposes.
We do not share your personal information with companies, organisations or individuals, except in the following cases: we’ll share personal information outside of RBHU or Raiffeisen Group when we have your consent; we provide personal information to our affiliates and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Data protection and privacy policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures; to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; to protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of RBHU or Raiffeisen Group, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
You shall have the right to request information through any of the above communication channels of the Bank at any time about the processing of your personal data, or access such data, and may furthermore request your personal data to be rectified, erased or restricted, and you are also entitled to the right to object to the processing of your personal data. For more details concerning your rights, see the Bank’s General Privacy Policy, in the chapter “Rights of the data subjects”.
In case you suppose that your rights to privacy have been violated, you may refer to the Bank’s Data Protection Officer and inform him/her of the problem related to the Bank’s data processing, as well as request information from him/her or ask for his/her opinion.
If you disagree with the opinion of the Bank’s Data Protection Officer, but also regardless of that, upon any violation of your rights related to the protection of your personal data, you may refer your complaint to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (registered office: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., mailing address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9, telephone: +36-1-391-1400, fax: +36-1-391-1410, e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) for remedy.
In case you suppose that your rights to privacy have been violated, you also have the right to refer to a court. The lawsuit shall be adjudicated by the competent court having jurisdiction at the registered office of the defendant or, if you prefer, by the court having jurisdiction at your residential address or place of stay. RBHU shall have the right at any time to change the content of this policy in its sole discretion, without giving any special notice.
